This Outlook is for Northwest and West Central Arkansas as well as
much of Eastern Oklahoma.

THUNDERSTORMS WITH DANGEROUS LIGHTNING.
RISK...Significant.
AREA...Eastern Oklahoma and Northwest Arkansas.
ONSET...Ongoing.

DISCUSSION...
A few thunderstorms will move into northeast Oklahoma this morning
before weakening. Additional thunderstorms will develop late this
afternoon, and especially this evening and overnight, as an upper
level disturbance moves into the area from the north. The greatest
coverage of storms will be across northeast Oklahoma, where
locally heavy rainfall may occur, which may result in localized
flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.
SUNDAY through FRIDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Thunderstorm chances will continue through much of the upcoming
week as an upper level trough remains over the area. Storm
coverage will lessen by later next week, and will be mostly
confined to the afternoon hours.
