much of Eastern Oklahoma.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

THUNDERSTORMS WITH DANGEROUS LIGHTNING.
RISK...Limited.
AREA...Northeastern Oklahoma.
ONSET...After 4 am.

DISCUSSION...
Thunderstorms are expected to move out of eastern Colorado this
evening, and across Kansas tonight. Some of this activity may reach
northeastern Oklahoma late tonight. The chances of severe weather
with this activity is very low, but the stronger activity may produce
gusty outflow wind gusts.

SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT...
Spotter Activation Not Expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.
TUESDAY...Thunderstorm Potential...Dangerous Heat Potential.
WEDNESDAY...Thunderstorm Potential...Heavy Rain Potential.
THURSDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.
FRIDAY...No Hazards.
SATURDAY and SUNDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Another hot day is expected on Tuesday before a frontal boundary
approaches portions of northeast Oklahoma Tuesday afternoon. A few
thunderstorms could develop along this boundary. Modest instability
could lead to a few strong to severe storms, with damaging wind gusts
the primary threat. The mid to upper level high pressure ridge
shifts back west by Wednesday and cooler temperatures will follow the
frontal boundary, along with continued thunderstorm chances.
Northwest flow aloft stays over the Plains through the weekend with
near to below average temperatures and periodic rain chances for the
region.
