showers and thunderstorms, some with heavy rain generally northwest
of a line from Hugo to Fayetteville. Thunderstorms with locally
heavy rain were located in Rogers, Tulsa and Washington counties in
Oklahoma. Movement was to the southeast at around 15 mph. The
average amount where it rained last hour was one tenth to one
quarter of an inch with maximum amounts of an inch and a half to two
inches. Coverage increased during the last hour. The Tulsa area
forecast for late tonight and into this morning, mostly cloudy,
showers and thunderstorms likely with temperatures 70 to 73 degrees
and east winds up to 5 mph.
