showers and thunderstorms, some with heavy rain mostly in northwest
Arkansas. They were most widespread and heaviest in Crawford,
Washington and Sebastian counties in Arkansas. The precipitation was
in the Fort Smith area. The precipitation was in the Bentonville,
Rogers and Fayetteville area. Movement was to the east at around 25
mph. The average amount where it rained last hour was one tenth to
one quarter of an inch with maximum amounts of an inch to an inch
and a half. Coverage and intensity decreased during the last hour.
The Tulsa area forecast for late this afternoon and into this
evening, partly sunny, a chance of showers and thunderstorms with
temperatures 81 to 89 degrees and east winds 5 to 10 mph.
