At 256 PM MDT, trained weather spotters reported a strong thunderstorm 25 miles north of Gildford, or 36 miles northwest of Havre, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph, half inch hail, frequent lightning and brief heavy downpours. SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Simpson.
