...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT WESTERN WAKULLA...CENTRAL
GADSDEN...SOUTHEASTERN LIBERTY...SOUTHWESTERN LEON AND NORTHEASTERN
FRANKLIN COUNTIES THROUGH 430 PM EDT...

At 337 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Quincy to 14 miles south of Greensboro to
10 miles northwest of Carrabelle. Movement was southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Tallahassee, Carrabelle, Florida State University, Midway,
Tallahassee Community College, Quincy, Florida A and M,
Crawfordville, Doak Campbell Stadium, Gretna, Sopchoppy, Lake
Bradford, Jewel Fire Tower, Leon Sinks, Douglas City, Gaither
Community Center, Tallahassee Memorial Hosp, Walker Ford Community
Center, South City, and Eight Mile Pond.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
