...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT CENTRAL WALTON...SOUTHERN HOLMES
AND NORTHWESTERN WASHINGTON COUNTIES THROUGH 330 PM CDT...

At 241 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 8 miles northwest of Bonifay to 7 miles east of
Eglin Air Force Base. Movement was east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Bonifay, De Funiak Springs, Eglin Air Force Base, Freeport, Ponce De
Leon, Caryville, Westville, Hinsons Crossroads, Red Bay, Douglass
Crossroad, Holmes County Airport, Whitehead Crossroads, Cerrogordo,
Gritney, Rock Hill, Eucheeanna, Five Points, Hulaw, New Home, and
Knox Hill.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
