.DISCUSSION...A slow warming trend will establish over the fire area heading
into Friday, with temperatures warming 1-2 degrees each day
through Sunday. Alongside slow warming, relative humidity will
decrease gradually, bottoming out in the upper single digits in
the lower elevations. This very dry environment will persist
through both daytime and nighttime, with overnight recoveries only
expected to rebound to upwards of 25 percent, providing minimal
relief. This is expected to be the trend through the next 7 days
or more as a long duration heatwave is expected to spread over
Utah. Aside from the hot and dry conditions, winds will be
generally light and terrain driven. Higher exposure north facing
slopes may see wind gusts mirroring speeds on the higher elevation
ridges (about 15 mph).
