Rain chances will continue across the fire districts this afternoon into the evening hours, as a weak cool front and upper level low shifts south through the area. Convection should diminish after sunset, but may linger overnight in districts along and south of a line from Lufkin Texas to Monroe Louisiana. Rain chances will shift southward on tomorrow, and remain generally along and south of a line from Lufkin Texas to Monroe Louisiana. Mixing heights should climb above 4000 ft north of that line, with min RH values between 45 to 55 percent. Should see drier conditions areawide on Saturday, with mixing heights above 4000 ft. Winds over the next couple of days will range from light/variable to NNE between 5 to 10 mph.
