Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A low pressure system moves in from the Midwest today
while strengthening slightly to 29.70 inches. Showers and
thunderstorms will accompany this system, some of which may be
strong to severe. A cold front moves through tonight with
unsettled conditions continuing into Saturday as a trough lingers
over the region. Weak high pressure then fills in on Sunday.
Another period of active weather is expected for the start of the
week as a frontal boundary moves into the area.

knots in the afternoon. Partly sunny. Scattered showers and
thunderstorms in the afternoon. Waves 2 feet or less.
.TONIGHT...Southwest winds 5 to 10 knots veering to the west early
in the morning. Partly cloudy. Scattered showers and thunderstorms
in the evening. Waves 2 feet or less.
.SATURDAY...West winds 5 to 10 knots. Partly sunny. A chance of
light showers in the afternoon. Waves 2 feet or less.
.SATURDAY NIGHT...Northwest winds 5 to 10 knots until early morning
becoming light and variable. Mostly clear. Waves 2 feet or less.
.SUNDAY...Light and variable winds becoming southeast 5 to 10 knots
in the afternoon and evening. Mostly clear. Waves 2 feet or less.
.MONDAY...South winds 5 to 10 knots. Partly cloudy. Waves 2 feet or
less.
.TUESDAY...West winds 5 to 10 knots. Partly cloudy. Showers likely
and a chance of thunderstorms. Waves 2 feet or less.
