...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN MINGO...
SOUTHWESTERN LINCOLN...NORTHWESTERN LOGAN AND SOUTHEASTERN WAYNE
COUNTIES THROUGH 845 PM EDT...

At 814 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles east of Hode, or 15 miles west of Logan, moving north at 30
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Ranger, Spurlockville, Gill, Harts, Palermo, Dingess, Wilsondale,
Branchland, and Breeden.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in Charleston West Virginia.
