...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN NASH AND WILSON
COUNTIES THROUGH 500 PM EDT...

At 356 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Bailey, or 15 miles southwest of Nashville, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph, pea size hail, and heavy rainfall.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible. Heavy rain may produce minor flooding in poor
         drainage and low lying areas.

Locations impacted include...
Wilson, Elm City, Bailey, Sharpsburg, Lucama, Middlesex, Black Creek,
Sims, Buckhorn Reservoir, and Tar River Reservoir.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
