Northwestern Baca County in southeastern Colorado... Northeastern Las Animas County in southeastern Colorado... South central Bent County in southeastern Colorado... * Until 515 PM MDT. * At 450 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 21 miles east of Higbee, or 31 miles southeast of North La Junta, moving east at 10 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of northwestern Baca, northeastern Las Animas and south central Bent Counties.
