...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN COSTILLA COUNTY THROUGH
545 PM MDT...

At 508 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles northeast of San Luis, or 29 miles east of San Luis Valley
Airport, moving southwest at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
San Luis, Mesita, San Acacio, San Pablo, Sanchez Reservoir, Jaroso,
Chama, and Garcia.
