...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT CENTRAL OTERO...NORTHEASTERN
HUERFANO...NORTH CENTRAL LAS ANIMAS...SOUTHERN CROWLEY AND
SOUTHEASTERN PUEBLO COUNTIES THROUGH 745 PM MDT...

At 658 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 19 miles northeast of Walsenburg to Ordway.
Movement was south at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Southern Pueblo, La Junta, North La Junta, Rocky Ford, Fowler,
Ordway, Swink, Manzanola, Olney Springs, Boone, Sugar City, Cheraw,
Crowley, Blende, Avondale, Pueblo Depot, and Colorado City.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
