963 FNUS55 KPUB 062021 FWFPUB Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado National Weather Service Pueblo Co 221 PM MDT Sat Jul 6 2024 .Discussion... Spotty, critical fire weather conditions will continue this afternoon along the Continental Divide into the San Luis Valley. A cold front will arrive on the Plains tonight with moisture moving back across the region by Sunday morning. This will likely lead to shower and thunderstorm development Sunday on the Plains. Upper high pressure will slowly build eastward through the week, with daily afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms expected, initially over the mountains with some spread each day to the southeast. Lightning and outflow winds will be the primary concerns. Temperatures will slowly warm through the week, with 80s, warming into the 90s by late week. Smoke dispersions will be excellent through this afternoon, falling off to poor overnight. A return to very good to excellent conditions is forecast for Sunday. --- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds --- COZ220-071015- Upper Arkansas River Valley Including Lake County and Chaffee County- 221 PM MDT Sat Jul 6 2024 .TONIGHT...
