Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
317 AM MDT Wed Jul 17 2024

.Discussion...

No critical fire weather conditions are expected through the rest
of this week. A cold front in place will usher in cooler
temperatures and higher relative humidity values today, and help
support additional shower and thunderstorm chances over much of
southern Colorado this afternoon into the evening. A wetter
pattern will be in place for much of the week into the weekend,
with daily chances for showers and thunderstorms, along with the
risk for heavy rainfall.

Smoke dispersion is expected to be poor to good across the area
today, and fair to very good on Thursday.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
