At 342 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms over Lake Of Egypt Area, or 7 miles south of Marion, moving northeast at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Marion, Goreville, Pittsburg, Creal Springs, Lake Of Egypt Area, New Burnside, and Spillertown.
