...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Illinois...Missouri...

  Mississippi River at Thebes.

.The Mississippi River will continue to slowly rise, cresting at
Thebes on Saturday.  The river will then begin to fall, dropping
below flood stage by the middle of next week.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Mississippi River at Thebes.

* WHEN...Until Wednesday morning.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:30 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 35.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 36.5
    feet Saturday morning. It will then fall below flood stage
    early Wednesday morning.
  - Flood stage is 33.0 feet.
