853 WGUS84 KOUN 080337 FLSOUN Flood Advisory National Weather Service Norman OK 1037 PM CDT Sun Jul 7 2024 OKC019-067-085-080730- /O.NEW.KOUN.FA.Y.0160.240708T0337Z-240708T0730Z/ /00000.N.ER.000000T0000Z.000000T0000Z.000000T0000Z.OO/ Carter OK-Jefferson OK-Love OK- 1037 PM CDT Sun Jul 7 2024 ...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 230 AM CDT MONDAY... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of southern Oklahoma, including the following counties, Carter, Jefferson and Love. * WHEN...Until 230 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1037 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
