Minor flooding is expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 0.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Jamaica, Elizabeth, Flatbush, Bayonne, Linden, Valley Stream, Long Beach, Coney Island, Lynbrook, Woodmere, Rockaway Beach, Todt Hill, Crown Heights, The Verrazano Narrows Bridge, Kennedy Airport, Huguenot, Forest Hills, Canarsie, Bay Ridge and Lower East Side. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
