from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...High pressure will build E over
the N portion tonight into Fri, then shift E of the region Fri
night into Sat night while maintaining a ridge across the waters.
The ridge will then drift E across the region Sun into Mon night.
Hurricane Ernesto will track N to NE to the SE of the area Thu
night into Fri, then turn N to NE Fri night into Sun while
passing E of the waters before accelerating off to the NE Sun
night and Mon. Long period S to SE swell from Ernesto will move N
and NW into the waters Thu into Fri, and then continue Fri night
into Mon night. See the latest advisory from the National
Hurricane Center on Hurricane Ernesto. A weak cold front will
approach from the NW Mon, then move offshore Mon night. The
NAVTEX stations in Charleston and Chesapeake have been reported
to be inoperable.
