New England continental shelf and slope waters from 25 nm
offshore to the Hague Line, except to 1000 fm south of New
England.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

The National Weather Service is accepting public comments until
July 29 2024 on a proposal to replace feet with meters when
describing seas in a variety of National Marine Center text
and graphical products for the Offshore and High Seas Areas

.SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...A weak stationary front will
remain near the coast today through Wed. The front will lift N
into northern New England as a warm front Wed night as the
remnants of TD Beryl track NE over the eastern Great Lakes. A
cold front trailing S from the low will approach from the W Thu
and Thu night, and then stall and slowly weaken near the coast
Fri into Sat. Otherwise, a high pressure ridge will prevail to
the SE of the region tonight through Sat night.

Gulf of Maine to the Hague Line

.TODAY...S winds 5 to 10 kt, increasing to 10 to 20 kt. Seas
3 to 4 ft. Areas of fog with vsby 1 nm or less.
.TONIGHT...SW winds 10 to 20 kt, becoming 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to
5 ft. Areas of fog, isolated showers and tstms with vsby 1 nm or
less.
.WED...S to SW winds 5 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Areas of fog,
isolated showers and tstms with vsby 1 nm or less.
.WED NIGHT...S winds 10 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Areas of fog
