Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average

more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS...Hurricane Beryl is near 28.7N 96.0W at 5 AM EDT, and
is moving north at 10 kt. Maximum sustained winds are 70 kt with
gusts to 85 kt, and the minimum central pressure is 979 mb.
Beryl will move inland and weaken to a tropical storm near 30.4N
95.8W this afternoon and continue to weaken as it moves through
Texas. High pressure will build in the wake of Beryl, with
conditions improving tonight into Tuesday. Looking ahead, high
pressure will persist through the week.
