Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure will dominate the Gulf of Mexico
through the forecast period, supporting mainly moderate or
weaker winds and slight to moderate seas. Winds will freshen up
each night off the NW Yucatan Peninsula into Sun night.

.TONIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft.
.SAT...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft.
.SAT NIGHT...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A trough trails south-southwestward from low
pressure near the S Carolina coast to inland central Florida
near Cape Canaveral. Scattered to numerous showers and
thunderstorms are over the waters W of about 72W. The low will
move onshore by early this evening while the trough weakens into
Sat. The shower and activity is expected to gradually decrease
through Sat evening. Fresh to strong south winds N of 30N between
75W and 78W will diminish late tonight. Elsewhere, moderate to
fresh easterly winds will continue across the southeastern waters
through the weekend, where seas will build to 9 ft. Fresh to
strong E winds and moderate seas will develop between the
southeastern Bahamas and Hispaniola through Sat night.

.TONIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE to S 10 to 15 kt
N of 27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered showers and isolated
thunderstorms.
