Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Weak high pressure will dominate the Gulf of Mexico
through the forecast period, supporting moderate or weaker winds
and slight to moderate seas. Winds will freshen up at night off
the NW Yucatan Peninsula through Sun night.

.THIS AFTERNOON...E to SE winds 10 kt. Seas 3 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms.
.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft or less.
Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.
.FRI...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft or less. Scattered showers
and isolated thunderstorms.
.FRI NIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft or less.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A weak trough that extends from a 1012 mb low near
30N76W to inland central Florida near Cape Canaveral will
sustain scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms over the
waters  mainly north of the Bahamas during the next few days.
The trough  is expected to lift northwestward and move inland
the southeastern U.S. by this weekend. Southeast winds will
increase to fresh to strong speeds east of the trough from this
afternoon through early Fri evening. Seas will build to near 10 ft
early Fri. Elsewhere, moderate to fresh easterly winds will
continue across the southeastern waters during the next several
days. Seas will build to 9 ft early Fri. Locally strong winds and
rough seas are likely for Puerto Rico and Hispaniola adjacent
waters Fri night into Sat night.

.THIS AFTERNOON...NE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and W to NW
15 to 20 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Winds and seas higher
in and near numerous showers and thunderstorms.
.TONIGHT...NW winds 10 to 15 kt, shifting to SE to S after
midnight. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered showers and thunderstorms.
.FRI...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and S to SW 10 to 15 kt
N of 27N. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered showers and thunderstorms.
