Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure will dominate the Gulf of Mexico
through the forecast period, supporting mainly moderate or
weaker winds and slight to moderate seas.

.TODAY...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
tstms.
.TONIGHT...NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms.
.SUN...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered tstms.
.SUN NIGHT...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

.SYNOPSIS...The associated surface trough is moving W farther
inland into Florida, but a mid and upper level trough is
inducing scattered thunderstorms in and just N of the NW
Bahamas. This activity should diminish today as the trough
weakens. Fresh S winds offshore FL should also lessen into
tonight. Elsewhere, fresh to locally strong winds will pulse
tonight offshore Hispaniola.
