...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN BLOUNT...SOUTHERN
COCKE AND SOUTHERN SEVIER COUNTIES THROUGH 630 PM EDT...

At 558 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 11 miles southwest of Newport to 12 miles west
of Smoky Mountains-Twentymile Creek. Movement was east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Sevierville, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Smoky Mountains-Newfound Gap,
Smoky Mountains-Twentymile Creek, Smoky Mountains-Fontana Area, Smoky
Mountains-Balsam Mountain, Pittman Center, Townsend, and Wears
Valley.
