...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL WISE COUNTY AND THE CITY
OF NORTON THROUGH 545 PM EDT...

At 456 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Wise, moving east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Norton, Wise, Coeburn, and St. Paul.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
