...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN DICKINSON...
SOUTHEASTERN MARQUETTE AND WEST CENTRAL ALGER COUNTIES THROUGH 730 PM
EDT/630 PM CDT/...

At 706 PM EDT/606 PM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from near Shot Point to 9 miles
southwest of Gwinn. Movement was east at 55 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Marquette, Presque Isle, Negaunee, K. I. Sawyer Airport, Deerton,
Trowbridge Park, Harvey, Gwinn, Sands, Skandia, Shot Point, Laughing
Whitefish Falls, Beaver Grove, Sundell, The 553 and 480 Crossroads,
Little Lake, Big Bass Lake, McFarland, Palmer, and Anderson Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
