...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN DAKOTA...CENTRAL
GOODHUE...NORTHWESTERN PEPIN...PIERCE...SOUTHWESTERN DUNN AND
SOUTHEASTERN ST. CROIX COUNTIES THROUGH 230 AM CDT...

At 147 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from River Falls to 5 miles
north of Welch to near Cannon Falls. Movement was east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Red Wing, River Falls, Prescott, Ellsworth, Goodhue, Elmwood, Welch,
Plum City, Bay City, Stockholm, Frontenac, and Vasa.

This includes U.S. Highway 61 between mile markers 82 and 104.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 400 AM CDT for
southeastern and east central Minnesota...and west central Wisconsin.
