...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN HENNEPIN...
NORTHEASTERN SIBLEY...WESTERN SCOTT...EAST CENTRAL MCLEOD AND CARVER
COUNTIES THROUGH 115 AM CDT...

At 1242 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Norwood Young America, or 25 miles south of Buffalo, moving southeast
at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Eden Prairie, Shakopee, Chaska, Chanhassen, Waconia, Victoria, Belle
Plaine, Minnetrista, Glencoe, Jordan, Carver, and Norwood Young
America.

This includes U.S. Highway 212 between mile markers 121 and 126.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 400 AM CDT for
central and east central Minnesota.
