...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Minnesota
and Wisconsin...

  Cottonwood River at New Ulm affecting Brown County.

  Minnesota River near Jordan affecting Sibley, Carver and Scott
  Counties.

  Minnesota River at Morton affecting Renville and Redwood Counties.

  Minnesota River at Savage affecting Scott, Carver, Hennepin and
  Dakota Counties.

  Mississippi River near Hastings L/D 2 (COE) affecting Washington,
  Dakota and Pierce Counties.

...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Minnesota...

  Minnesota River at Henderson MN19 affecting Sibley, Scott and Le
  Sueur Counties.

.Rivers continue to gradually recede. A chance of showers and storms
is in the forecast through midweek before drying out. Accumulations
will be light however may delay recession into action stage to later
this week.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

* WHEN...Until early Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, Flood waters begin to impact low lying
  areas...and some roads along the river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1000 AM CDT Monday, the stage was 10.8 feet.
  - The river is rising and nearing crest.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    this afternoon to a crest of 11.1 feet this evening. It will
    then fall below flood stage tomorrow morning.
  - Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    11.0 feet on 03/07/1994.

  - The river is continuing to fall.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    Thursday morning and continue falling to 729.1 feet Monday,
    July 15.
  - Flood stage is 732.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of

  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    Sunday afternoon and continue falling to 24.5 feet Monday,
    July 15.
