...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Minnesota...

  Minnesota River at Savage affecting Carver, Dakota, Hennepin and
  Scott Counties.

  Minnesota River near Jordan affecting Carver, Sibley and Scott
  Counties.

.Another round of storms will move through tomorrow, but these will
be fast moving, and are not expected to cause additional rises on
area rivers.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Minnesota River at Savage.

* WHEN...Until Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 702.0 feet, Barge loading affected at Port Cargill,
  and other flood prevention measures are begun. Water begins to
  impact Black Dog Road in Burnsville.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 800 PM CDT Sunday, the stage was 703.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 800 PM CDT Sunday was 703.2 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    Tuesday afternoon and continue falling to 698.1 feet Sunday,
    July 21.
  - Flood stage is 702.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    702.8 feet on 10/01/1986.

* IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet, Low lying areas and some roads along the
  river begin to flood and private sanitary sewers may experience
  problems.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 745 PM CDT Sunday, the stage was 25.1 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 745 PM CDT Sunday was 25.2 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    just after midnight tonight and continue falling to 20.6 feet
    Sunday, July 21.
  - Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    25.1 feet on 03/20/1985.
