...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Minnesota...

  Minnesota River at Morton affecting Redwood and Renville Counties.

.A much drier scenario is forecasted over the next week across the
Upper Midwest. As a result, river levels on the Minnesota should
stabilize
and gradually recede over the coming days.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL EARLY FRIDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Minnesota River at Morton.

* WHEN...Until early Friday afternoon.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 700 PM CDT Tuesday, the stage was 21.3 feet.
  - The river is steady.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 21.3
    feet tonight. It will then fall below flood stage Thursday
    evening.
  - Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    21.4 feet on 05/31/2004.
