...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Minnesota...

  Minnesota River at Savage affecting Dakota, Carver, Hennepin and
  Scott Counties.

  Minnesota River near Jordan affecting Carver, Sibley and Scott
  Counties.

  Minnesota River at Morton affecting Renville and Redwood Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Minnesota River at Savage.

* WHEN...Until early Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 705.0 feet, Flood waters begin to impact the park
  road at Fort Snelling State Park.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 700 PM CDT Thursday, the stage was 704.5 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 700 PM CDT Thursday was 704.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    Tuesday morning and continue falling to 699.9 feet Thursday,
    July 18.
  - Flood stage is 702.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 26.7 feet, The bridge at Scott County Road 9 and
  Carver County Road 11/Jonathan Carver Parkway will be closed.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 545 PM CDT Thursday, the stage was 26.1 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 545 PM CDT Thursday was 26.2 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    early Monday afternoon and continue falling to 23.4 feet
    Thursday, July 18.
  - Flood stage is 25.0 feet.

  North Redwood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 700 PM CDT Thursday, the stage was 21.2 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 700 PM CDT Thursday was 21.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    tomorrow evening and continue falling to 19.0 feet Thursday,
    July 18.
  - Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
