...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Minnesota...

  Minnesota River at Savage affecting Scott, Dakota, Hennepin and
  Carver Counties.

  Minnesota River near Jordan affecting Scott, Sibley and Carver
  Counties.

  Minnesota River at Morton affecting Renville and Redwood Counties.

.River levels continue to fall across the region. Upcoming rain
chances may slow river level recession, but should not lead to
rising levels.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Minnesota River at Savage.

* WHEN...Until late Tuesday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 705.0 feet, Flood waters begin to impact the park
  road at Fort Snelling State Park.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 900 AM CDT Friday, the stage was 704.2 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 900 AM CDT Friday was 704.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    early Tuesday morning and continue falling to 699.4 feet
    Friday, July 19.
  - Flood stage is 702.0 feet.

  - At 845 AM CDT Friday, the stage was 25.9 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 845 AM CDT Friday was 26.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    Monday morning and continue falling to 23.1 feet Friday, July
    19.

  North Redwood.

  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 900 AM CDT Friday was 21.2 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    this evening and continue falling to 18.8 feet Friday, July
    19.
  - Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
