...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 830 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of south central and southwest Alabama, including
  the following counties, in south central Alabama, Wilcox. In
  southwest Alabama, Clarke.

* WHEN...Until 830 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 527 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of
    rain have fallen with more rain expected.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Thomasville, Camden, Pine Hill, Fulton, Yellow Bluff, Sunny
    South, Hestle, MacMillan, Kimbrough, Culpeper, Anne Manie,
    Arlington, Finley Crossing, Atkeison, Sheppard, Lower Peach
    Tree, Coy, Roundhill, Coal Bluff and Lamison.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
