587 WGUS84 KMOB 210446 FLSMOB Flood Advisory National Weather Service Mobile AL 1146 PM CDT Sat Jul 20 2024 ALC023-210745- /O.NEW.KMOB.FA.Y.0073.240721T0446Z-240721T0745Z/ /00000.N.ER.000000T0000Z.000000T0000Z.000000T0000Z.OO/ Choctaw AL- 1146 PM CDT Sat Jul 20 2024 ...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 245 AM CDT SUNDAY... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of southwest Alabama, including the following county, Choctaw. * WHEN...Until 245 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1145 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Overflowing poor drainage areas will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
