VFR conditions are forecast through the period. Light and variable
winds early this morning with VCSH possible along the Treasure
Coast after 15Z as the east coast sea breeze gradually develops.
Winds will become southeasterly along the coast after 17Z as the
east coast sea breeze moves inland, with VCTS possible along it.
The sea breeze will reach the interior around 19Z, with increasing
showers and storms forecast through the remainder of the
afternoon. Confidence in exact timing remains low right now, so
held off on adding TEMPOs in, but will reevaluate with the next
package. Activity is forecast to gradually diminish around 02Z,
with winds becoming light and variable to calm once more at all
terminals overnight.

Tonight...Radar is mostly quiet with a few light showers along
the Treasure Coast and near Lake Okeechobee. This shower activity

limited to the local Atlantic waters. Evening temperatures in the
low to mid 80s will gradually fall into the mid to upper 70s by

.MARINE...
Issued at 206 PM EDT Fri Jul 12 2024

A surface ridge axis will maintain its position near or over the
local Atlantic for several days to come, allowing winds to turn SE 5-
12 KT. The daily sea breeze circulation will be unimpeded, with
nearshore winds increasing to ESE 10-15 KT each afternoon. Shower
and storm coverage will be lower over the weekend and into early
next week compared to the past couple of days, but we will keep 30-
40% chances especially at night and in the morning hours. Seas 2-3
FT, except up to around 4 FT in the offshore waters Sunday into
Monday.
