...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1145 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Wisconsin, including the following
  counties, Jefferson, Walworth and Waukesha.

* WHEN...Until 1145 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Overflowing poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 839 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
    flooding.
  - Rainfall amounts of 1 to 2.5 inches are expected over the
    area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Whitewater, Elkhorn, Delavan, Lake Geneva, Mukwonago, East
    Troy, Williams Bay, Genoa City, Walworth, Palmyra, Fontana-
    On-Geneva Lake, Sharon, Darien, Como, Potter Lake, Pell Lake,
    Powers Lake, Burlington, Richmond and Springfield.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
