...Dry weather continues today with above-normal temperatures, and
getting warmer into Saturday...
...Thunderstorms possible (10-20% chances) this weekend...

.DISCUSSION...Warm and dry weather continues today under southwest
flow aloft. Humidities will remain low with typical afternoon
breezes. An upper low off the southern CA coast will move towards
the area Saturday with the development of isolated storms (10-20
percent coverage) looking more likely, mainly over the south and
east. Then, nocturnal storms Saturday night are possible (~15-20%
chance) mainly for the Oregon west side and Cascades as the short
wave lifts north along the coast. Storms Sunday morning should be
confined to the northwest part of the area, before moving north,
then the focus for storms shift to the Cascades and portions of
the eastside Sunday afternoon. It will by dry and cooler for the
start of next week.
