TUESDAY FOR GUSTY WINDS AND LOW RH FOR FIRE WEATHER ZONE 622

...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 2 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 11 PM
PDT THIS EVENING FOR ABUNDANT LIGHTNING ON DRY FUELS IN FIRE WEATHER
ZONES 616, 617, 623, 624, 625 AND 285...

.DISCUSSION...An upper low west of the area will bring moisture and
increasing instability again today. The concern for thunderstorms
remains, especially this afternoon and early this evening east of
the Cascades, Modoc county, eastern half of Douglas county, northern
Jackson County, and portions of Josephine County. At the same,
time critical conditions with stronger winds and low humidity in and
around the Shasta and Rogue valleys are expected. Keep in mind gusty
and erratic winds will be an issue near thunderstorms. Dry and stable
weather returns Wednesday through Friday with a more dry and stable
southwest flow.
