...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI...
SOUTHWESTERN DYER AND LAUDERDALE COUNTIES THROUGH 415 AM CDT...

At 335 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Ashport, or 10 miles east of Luxora, moving northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Dyersburg, Ripley, Halls, Bradleytown, Unionville, Ashport, Ft
Pillow, Gates, Lenox, Barr, Papaw Ridge, Porter Gap, Edith, Fowlkes,
Dryhill, Bonicord, Double Bridges, O`Donnell Bend, Tomato, and Rosa.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
