Fire Weather Planning Forecast for West Texas/Southeast New Mexico
National Weather Service Midland/Odessa TX
300 PM CDT Wed Jul 17 2024

.DISCUSSION...

No major changes in the forecast as fire weather concerns remain
low through the weekend and into next week. RHs remain above
critical levels, winds stay generally light, and we have several
opportunities for rain. Storms will pose a risk of fire starts
from lightning and will contain gusty and erratic winds. Hot
conditions will last into Friday before cooler weather arrives
this weekend and continues into next week.

Matrix product issued by the Midland/Odessa National Weather
Service Office.
