Here is a look at the weather features that will affect the region
over the next several days.

High pressure will continue to move offshore while the remnants of Chantal
track across North Carolina. In advance of this system, a few
showers and thunderstorms may reach the area this afternoon into
tonight. The remnant low pressure will weaken Monday while a cold
front approaches from the northwest, combining to bring increasing
rain chances. The front may stall nearby through much of the week,
possibly into next weekend as well. This will result in continued
humid and unsettled conditions throughout the week.
