...A SPECIAL MARINE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 530 PM EDT...

For the following areas...
Chesapeake Bay from North Beach to Drum Point MD...
Choptank River to Cambridge MD and the Little Choptank River...

At 501 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Blackwalnut
Point, moving southeast at 5 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

SOURCE...Observed wind.

IMPACT...Boaters in small craft could be thrown overboard by
         suddenly higher winds and waves capsizing their vessel.

Locations impacted include...
Blackwalnut Point, Choptank River, Knapps Narrows Bridge, and
Tilghman Island.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are
expected.

Frequent lightning is occurring with this storm. If caught on the
open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.
