.NOW...
Through 4 pm...isolated showers and thunderstorms will continue
to develop off the Caprock, from the southeast Texas Panhandle
into the Rolling Plains. Individual storm cells will move very
little and be relatively short-lived. Brief downpours, wind gusts
to 50 mph, and cloud-to-ground lightning will be possible with any
thunderstorm. Storm coverage will be limited, but a few lucky
locations could receive a quick quarter to half inch or more, with
spots over the southern Rolling Plains most favored. If you hear
thunder, seek shelter indoors or inside a hard-topped vehicle.
