For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior.

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...Lake Superior will be located between high pressure
averaging 30.1 inches over the Appalachians and low pressure
averaging 29.7 inches over the northern Plains this weekend. This
pattern will favor warm southwesterly flow and the potential for
episodes of showers and thunderstorms. A trough of 29.7 inches
sweeps across Lake Superior through Monday, with a 30.1 inch high
gradually building in through the middle of next week.
