Open Lake Forecast for Lake Superior

For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior.

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS... 30 inch ridging over the Great Lakes will slowly be
replaced by a 29.9 inch trough moving east across northern
Minnesota this evening. This trough will dissipate as it moves
over Lake Superior on Monday. Then a weak high pressure of 29.9
inches setting up over Lake Superior on Tuesday will build to 30.1
inches on Wednesday, then continue to build to near 30.2 inches
over southern Ontario Thursday.
